The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 颇有新意的驱魔片，把梵蒂冈黑得够呛，虽然恶魔已然渗透，但结尾处仍然埋下了希望的伏笔。

剧情温吞的想骂人。21年了还有这种同质化严重的小妞电影真是不敢想象。
本片最大的亮点就是恶魔驱逐牧师心中的上帝这个设定，驱逐的过程，给我的感觉就是谁大声谁更有底气，谁就赢了。最后正不胜邪，牧师被附身。但除此之外，其他情节跟别的驱魔片差不多

脑洞大开的一场魔与神驱逐对狙，神父犯了错还不敢承认算是最大的错误，随着民众的认可迷失了方向，直到女儿出问题才追悔莫及，老伙伴临死反复嘱托不能做交易也挡不住自我献祭救孩子，从主教的态度来看魔鬼和上帝某种角度既对立又共存，只是苦了这帮基层工作者，要么附身要么被干，魔化的圣母和耶稣造型好评，神父的内心挣扎都写在脸上了有点太过，最后有点万能钥匙的感觉，不过魔鬼感慨女儿的神性和神父的牺牲应该算是扳回一城没彻底失败，不过老一辈暗暗倒下了，新一代又要接棒也是挺残酷的，像极了生活
神父放弃自身拯救女儿的故事，如果驱魔过程能除了嗓门之外开个其他脑洞，肯定就更有意思了
劇本很棒，反驅魔的設定很cult,但導演的功力尚不成熟，後半段拍成了喜劇，鏡頭與構圖也較平了。
