The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 暗黑怪诞，令人不适，似乎又充满隐喻，充满了现在电影作品里少有的想象力和独创性。得以窥探到菲尔·蒂佩特的脑内世界，他是一位怀有双向情感障碍，沉浸在自我世界的定格动画天才。
源于自然崇拜和英雄崇拜，寄托人对美好生活的向往，所以一种自然的、自发的、未收到摧残的状态，肯定就像这样：各路神灵遍地，见神就拜。古希腊就是如此，那些原始民族的也都是如此。
画面设计和音乐完美，少一分是看不懂什么意思，有一种反战的感觉
如地狱般的场景却令人惊叹这也是人间的存在。
非常棒的定格动画，肉块状的血腥场面，表现的淋漓尽致，极强的视觉冲击，到了足以做噩梦的地步。

想象力爆棚，细节精致到令人发指的地狱图景，简直是令人不安的影像大集合。喜不喜欢另当别论，服气是真的服。
