The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 中规中矩的那种年货体育励志篇。各种意义上的工整但平庸，可以提前猜到各种剧情套路和起承转合，可能对篮球爱好者有额外加分吧。
说它是恶搞片的都是没太看懂。它和一般恶搞片不同的地方在于，它完美复刻了超级英雄让人崇拜的时刻，无论是动作、剪辑、剧情，单拿出来都可以当做超级英雄片花来欣赏，完全看不出恶搞的元素。当然作为喜剧片，它的恶搞之处，或者说点睛之笔在于把超级英雄的人设放进了日常生活中。这样发生的冲突就造成了喜剧的张力。比如失忆的男主以为自己是超级英雄的桥段，男主是一本正经的以为，但开启上帝视角的观众却笑得乐不可支。P.S.临近结尾时，cos雷神、美队、钢铁侠和女巨人时，让人喷饭，真是神来之笔！

虽然一点也不懂篮球（也不爱），但能感受到体育精神的魅力和残酷。
