The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 电影几乎恶搞了市面上大多数的超英角色，包括被定义为英雄的角色，电影背后也仅仅是主角被选中拍了一部卖广告的B级片，模仿蝙蝠侠。
法版“城市猎人”的导演男主，致敬且恶搞了大量超级英雄电影桥段，笑料还行。
笑得有些想死了，2022年巴黎圣母院再度浴火，谢谢法国人，地狱笑话还是你们会啊！
