The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 没有停顿、甚至没有转场，几把椅子，几件衣服，仅凭借着灯光，十几个演员一人分饰多角，演出了一万人的故事。

调度好厉害。虽然说主题立意远大于故事本身，但一个半小时我还是从头哭到尾。喜欢用圣经交流，加油站默哀，消防员妈妈和凌晨四点做德餐这几个片段！可能因为时长和故事基调，一些问题讨论得浅尝辄止。
真是以小见大的好作品！用纽芬兰小岛上的温情和爱来对抗人类历史上最具毁灭性的恶性事件，非常令人感动！对迫降事件后，社区各个层面的反应刻画得也非常还原。考拉唱得真好！
来看看，正能量的作品不是非要大家牵着手大喊口号的。
真正需要我们重视的东西，在come from away里面就展现出来了，灾难后，也许世界没有变得更好，歧视和战争还在，但我们更应该向这些islanders学习，不去想权谋和观点的碰撞，只有you’ve done the same. 经历过疫情发生的小城，当地人以自己的方式，不忍心医护人员吃泡面，从自家备好鸡鸭给他们送去。are we going to do the same?
好好看。很温馨，剧情、人物、场景真的都编排得太好了。我从二十分钟开始就一直处于要哭不哭的状态，但笑点很好地中和了情绪。

What a year like same year!
被故事打动，在这个世界日渐隔绝的时候，这样一个基于真实故事展现人性之美的音乐剧真太棒了。不论来自于哪个国家，文化，宗教，这一刻我们都是islander
可能这是我注定无法欣赏的一部音乐剧了，群像太多太杂随意转换，一直处在一种情绪很饱满激动的状态中。第二次坚持看到1/2又失败了… 唉，可能是我不懂欣赏吧。
