The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 舞台利用最大化，每一位演员都身兼多名角色，性格反差明显，特别优秀。
因女机长的独白而入坑。前阵疫情的额济纳旗小县城，和剧中的小镇多么相像！
层次非常丰富的百老汇舞台剧，大到人道主义，小到个人友情、爱情；从种族问题讲到女性、LGBT群体的社会接纳；有生离死别，也有相遇重逢。正如剧中所唱，一些东西失去了，另一些被建立起来了。整部剧的基调是自由主义式的，或许这才是正确对抗恐怖主义的途径。用融合代替隔离，用积极代替阴郁，用好好生活代替暴力反应。（观影时间：2021年10月6日；自评：8.3；推荐指数：★★★★★）

密集的台词和唱段、动听的旋律、热闹的舞步、简洁炫目的舞美、缤纷的笑料和点到为止的感人瞬间，百老汇太强了。女机长的solo曲目Me and the Sky进入单曲循环。
真的很棒 一组人 一个场景 分饰多角 那种困境中的互助 爱和信任都是那么慷慨。结尾那么动容的Be an inlander，做个这样的岛民，才能让我们都不变成孤岛。那是20年前 今天一切变好了吗？屏幕上有多被感染 屏幕下就有多沮丧 失落与绝望。

让灾难从一个抽象的事件变成一个可以触摸容易共情的事件
看到IMDB的评分挺高，就下载了，原来又是一部和911相关的作品。中文字幕。
第一次主动看音乐剧，我还不太会欣赏。将近两个小时的表演，从头到尾专注的看完，同时又要准确的理解其剧情，含义还是很有难度的。找时间再来追第二遍吧。整个情节十分流畅，人物剧情也很生动且活泼，就是美式幽默我还get不到。看来9.11将是美国无法抹去的哀伤。

悲与喜带来的历史与2022之间的一致性，使得苦难没有意义，虚无又穿透了我。

头一天看了一部本土爱国主义舞台剧，然后这么一对比……好的更好了，差的就不说了。基本上就是我们和世界的差距吧。
