编导跟演员比起来稚嫩得多，配乐本身很好听，但和电影也没什么搭界。
虽然结尾重逢的那段看到我笑出声，但是就凭Marike订婚之前二人的种种感觉下一秒就要去doi了的那么多变态细节，难道不是至少吊打cmbyn吗^_^可能是北美口音让这部电影观感略土（蛤），但是真理教的窒息氛围和Jamie强硬的性格之间的鲜明对比刻画得超好，Jamie和Marike之间的对白写得也很聪明。唯二不足的是二人的秘密被戳破以后，Marike家人的反应一笔带过，以及Jamie最后回答的“everyday”。

很难让我不联想到Disobedience，不仅仅是题材的类似，当我思忖Marike的信仰究竟给了她怎样的力量以让她坚信时，我也想到了Esti，Esti的信仰赋予她选择的能力。结局停在那处，那我就当主创鼓励观众畅想她们会选择违命了。

意外的精彩。本以为又是隔靴搔痒的青春疼痛，没想到沉默的深情侵入身体发肤，带来悠长的回味与感动；没有曝露肉体的贪艳猎奇，点到为止的接触已然刻骨铭心，整部电影压抑无声的情绪累积，铺垫至结尾经年流逝的旧明信片——“you should have been there”——眼泪终于决堤了。
