The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 里面有些设定有点创意，但整个故事看下来一般般
抛一个时髦的议题，造一个新颖的机器人，讲述一个老掉牙的治愈、友爱、真诚故事，或许还能骗到小孩子，但已经骗不到大人了。机器人当属瓦力，或是钢铁巨人。
ET，还有点T2的味道。可惜票房不太好，可能和Mitchell vs Machine有点撞题材。

继瓦力之后又一部让人哭瞎的机器人动画。彷佛在看每一个依赖手机、网络、社交软件与世界联结的我们。可友谊没有算法，人类的感情无法被数据计算。只有放下屏幕再度面对面的我们才能获得最真诚的交流。渴望融入的怪胎才是不孤独的人。从这个意义上我也好想回到没有网络的原始森林。Bubble，Apple，希望每一个掌控世界技术变革的公司运营者都是真诚希望人类享受科技便捷有良知的技术员。愿世界远离官僚体制。
除了结局不喜欢。牺牲一个懂你的朋友，换一堆不懂你的“朋友”，有劲？

人工智障Ron出拳打人，还有努力帮男主找朋友的样子好可爱，戴着个小帽子还是胖Zach配音。不想再在动画片里看到科技公司，都知道了都知道了。
