The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 维京古文化的考究与其元素的充沛并没有弥补叙事动能的不足。作者电影的思维与创作技巧禁锢了该题材本应有的观影情绪。想想当年吉布森的《启示》多么扣人心弦。可惜了。

拍得还不错就是太太太长了。简单粗暴在一开始是优点，到最后就是审美疲劳了。

北欧民俗风情展示片，王子复仇记的故事讲成这样也还算是吸引人的，但相比于导演邪门前作，本片拍成这样实在是过于普通了（反而是去年的绿衣骑士，可以和女巫以及灯塔一起成为A24的邪门三部曲

用一个极高的预算在拍一部几乎没有必要的电影，当然如果每个观众都不知Shakespeare是谁那倒是有点看头。看的过程必须要说眼睛很舒服，导演非常知道怎样拍一部质感在线的商业电影，所以难受就在这里，因为它明明可以是一部更好的电影。再退一万步说，就这么个电影你敢叫「北欧人」？「弹子球游戏」格局那么大都没敢叫「东亚人」啊。
