The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 太潮汕生活了。 感觉不是看电视 而是在看自己回家的记忆。
尤其适合在深圳打拼的潮汕人
方言听不懂，但是却不影响观影，有些时候需要的真实状态反而更容易让人入戏。而不是强行的去改变它，让它迎合更多人。
在潮汕元素基础上理想化了一些，潮汕元素也略显生硬，总体还行
但是方言电影还是要支持一下，作为闽南人，潮汕方言居然可以勉强听懂哈哈哈哈。而且风俗习惯啥的，也跟闽南地区有相似的地方，挺好的，支持！
除此之外，还具有几分纪录片的真实鲜活和漫不经心。

对潮汕的了解加深了一点，不仅有牛肉丸，有丰富多彩的民俗，还有遗祸千年的思想糟粕。母亲这个角色真的很出彩，素人能演得出神入化，还有那个龅牙婶谜之搞笑。最后泽凯和静珊怎么解决异地问题的？
虽说都是素人演员，但演技都不觉得生硬。笑料和当地文化结合的非常到位。
