The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 虽然我很不了解这个人群，但导演的呈现在我看来还算细腻可信。抒情的部分要是能处理得更成熟克制一些就好了。
为什么流浪
1、一首现代游牧民的散文诗，全片散发出自然随性的魅力，碎片化日常，消解真实时间，无数细碎的生活日常组成了个体的人生经历；2、女版《海边的曼彻斯特》，丈夫去世的心伤难以痊愈，不得不上路寻求慰藉，这当然是表层意思，深层的是质疑世俗意义的人生，人应该怎样选择活着；3、一个人开着房车行驶在苍茫的大地上，真有种“寄蜉蝣于天地”的意味，细品之下便是“哀吾生之须臾”的感慨。
片子拍的克制，情绪在风景与眼神间流转，孤独又浪漫。

游牧是跟着草，现代游牧是跟着一个个的季节性打工点……一个第一人称的放不下故事，但是公路真的是走捷径了……
不是传统的homeless的故事，更多的是自我选择的放逐
内敛而忧伤。配上宁静忧郁的音乐，想着如果相同的故事也在中国西部上演。。。
