As its title suggests THE FABULOUS WORLD OF JULES VERNE is an awe -inspiring, meticulous cinematic rendering of the aesthetic and conceptual inventions of proto-science fiction genius Jules Verne, based on one of the famed author's lesser known short stories. However, the real star of the film is the intricate art direction, successfully rendering the visual style of nineteenth century woodcuts and engravings into motion pictures, creating a stylized and surreal graphic world within which Verne’s fanciful tale unfolds. A brilliant scientist, Dr. Roche, perches high above a stormy sea, inventing a powerful explosive, when he and his assistant are kidnapped by an evil businessman, Artigas. Taken by submarine to Artigas' volcano headquarters, Roche is tricked into developing his experiment for evil intentions. The scientist’s assistant, Simon, struggles all the while to free himself and warn Roche. A magical world of baroque submarines and sailing ships, killer octopus, undersea bicycles dazzles audiences as human actors, puppetry, animation and fanciful scenic design interact to create a cinematic experience that is unique by any standards. 马丁坎贝尔快八十了，一个会拍动作片的老手，上部《英伦对决》值四星，但这次的剧本实在太陈旧，Maggie Q被女特工角色彻底困住，全片最酷的其实是迈克尔基顿，为他设计的两场打戏值得一看，其余可快进。

如果没有太多空余时间，或者愿意来吐槽，那就不要看了。当然，李美琪居然神奇地将胸部搞大了一些，其实没有必要。
是不是没人跟李美琪搭戏了，竟然找个七十几岁的男人来做床戏！剧情松垮，唯一撑起看片欲望的是动作戏！
故事有点说不通，有种硬编的感觉，所以最后boss都死了，男杀手为啥还要杀女主

Maggie Q真的年纪不小了。还要主演这种打打杀杀的动作戏，甚至还不得不卖弄性感风骚。真是既让人心疼，有顿觉无奈。联想到之前在《追忆迷局》看到的阿祖，真是希望回到《赤裸特工》的年代。本片里还有老蝙蝠侠迈克尔·基顿和局长塞缪尔·杰克逊加盟。加上依旧魅力的QQ。虽然文武戏都一般，但情怀加分呀。
反派也很奇怪，做什么要假死躲开调查？而且到底是谁在查他的儿子，最后也没有说…
Maggie Q才是华人动作女星yyds。颜值耐看。但这片是在一无是处，一塌糊涂！
Martin Campbell的作品還是有點質量，保證了節奏的不崩，中段開始敘事語焉不詳，角色動機模糊不清，究竟被誰追殺、為何追殺，人物沒頭沒腦亂殺人，全靠著一場場沒邏輯又臭又長的文戲給霸佔了！Maggie Q終究擺脫不了美豔女殺手的形象，可惜本片動作戲敷衍稀少，毫無亮點，沒能成為自己的John Wick，還要與70的Michael Keaton硬湊couple，毫無化學反應，只覺得噁心。廢戲太多，全靠卡司撐完。
三星全给Maggie Q 身材颜值太棒了吧！打戏是真好看，虽然剧情莫名其妙，但是性张力很足
这个结局也挺无语的，基顿一点本事没在身上是吧，这还能被打败我真的不相信，大概率是双方都没开枪，那问题是，这一百分钟导演说了个什么呢？
能把一个电影故事讲好，讲明白，讲的有深度，这是一个先后顺序，能完成第1个是最基本的。
当然你不能指望西方人了解1991年越共已经提出《社会主义过渡时期国家建设纲领》了。
动作场面精彩，铺垫到位，不突兀。Samuel Jackson说Richard Wenk写的台词真是再好不过了。剧本唯一的不足是反派人物不够扎实强大，儿子那段戏也显得牵强。但不影响作为商业动作片的娱乐价值。

很简单的事情故弄玄虚，还啰里八嗦，明明开几枪就解决的事情搞那么复杂。难以理解，不合逻辑。
故事性比较弱，但是动作戏还是比较过瘾的，最后有点女权的意思
老派的槍戰動作場面，連餐桌上床上的小小玩笑都很江湖。很不錯的觀看體驗，回憶裡那個小女孩的精神氣可真是好。
