The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不过在威尼斯，这总级别的电影也不多见，还是配得上金狮的。

女性题材。反堕胎确实傻逼，但欧洲这些个五部电影有四部都是怀孕也确实挺傻逼的，毫无美学可言。
干净、冷冽、决绝，直接凝视的手持镜头放大了扎实的功力所带来的每一次震撼
还是法国电影更能让人沉浸，踏踏实实地讲故事，不贩卖焦虑，只是呈现，思考留给观众自己。
现在已经2022年，地球上的女性依然不能完全主宰自己的身体。一切都还在发生，正在发生。
不同国家的女性，都是男权政策的受害者……影片最后男医生说的"自然流产"，我真的是想骂人，一个年华正好的女性的生死命运被他人掌握……
“一种只会攻击女性的病，一种让他们变成家庭妇女的病。”
优缺点都很明显，无可置疑的是，在疫情时代的确很容易被如此匠气的鸡汤倾向给鼓舞到；象征性元素塞得较满——幽蓝客厅照进阳光，蛇，雨，以及关于主旨「瀑布」的点题与结尾急转弯式的闭合，都显得过于工整而失之趣味，甚至有命题作文之味。
